He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Cable and Bessie Cable (Carson); his wife Maggie Elizabeth Brown Cable; his daughter Myra June Cable; and his brothers, Harold Cable, Shirley Ray Cable and Norman Keith Cable.
He is survived by: his grandson Joshua Cable Howard; and his great grandchild Ellis Cable HowardIn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McKnight Funeral Home (147 Main St, Crab Orchard, KY 40419). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McKnight Funeral Home Chapel (229 Main St, Crab Orchard, KY 40419).
