We announce the death of Robert Simpson of Cranks, Kentucky, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Simpson and Rebecca Day Simpson; his siblings, Ricky Simpson, Johnny Simpson and Rebecca Ann Harvey; his daughter Cherish Michelle Stewart; and his grandson Jordan Blade Ledford.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Simpson; his children, Christy Ledford (Vernon) of Richmond, KY, Robert "Brandon" Simpson of Richmond, KY and Jonathan Simpson (Michelle) of Cranks, KY.; his grandchildren, Sasha Dempsey (Ryan), Sabrina Turner (Rick), Alexis Rogers (Shane), Savannah Smith (Kevin), Gracie Simpson, Ally Simpson, Aiden Stewart and Madison Simpson; his siblings, Tony Simpson of Cranks, KY and Patricia "Pat" Fields of Mary Alice, KY.; and his mother-in-law Loretta Couch of Kildav, KY.. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Laws & Jones Funeral Home (114 S 3rd St, Harlan, KY 40831).
