He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Roland" Krefting and Artance Krefting; and his close friend Reid Dienhart. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Terri" Krefting; his stepdaughters, Amy Sanders (Ken), Emily Utaski and Sarah Brown (Anthony); his sons, Karl Krefting (Heather), Brian Krefting and Cyrus Krefting; his grandsons, Jacob, Zachary and Owen Brown; and his siblings, Carol Dienhart, Paul Krefting and Marilyn "Jeanie" Foye. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews.
