Dudley Thompson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Dudley Thompson of Crestwood, Kentucky. Dudley, born on October 30, 1943, passed away on October 10, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dudley Thompson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley James and Lorna Lee Thompson (Sparks); his brothers, Bill, Jim and Chester; and his sisters-in-law, Mona and Lois.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette McCloud Thompson; his children, Tracye Huber (Chuck) and Travis Thompson (Joan); his grandchildren, Samantha Lenn (Kyle), Clinton Huber, Abbey Thompson and Katey Thompson; his great grandchildren, Olivia Lenn and Walker Lenn; and his sister-in-law Thelma Thompson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stoess Funeral Home (6534 State Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY 40014). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Crestwood United Methodist Church (7214 Kavanaugh Rd, Crestwood, KY 40014).

Memorial contributions may be made in Dudley's honor to the New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
