He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Tanner and John F. Tanner; his son Michael Tanner; and his son-in-law Kenneth Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hannan Tanner; his children, Bonnie Higgins and Daniel Tanner; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Tanner; his brother Kenneth Tanner (Evelyn); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Cummings (Adam), Amy Higgins, Steven Tanner, Emily Tanner and Todd Higgins (Kristin).
