She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lem Benjamin and Faye Vanmeter Abbott; her children, Laura Beard and Carl Beard; her grandchildren, Carl Joseph Beard, Graeme Benjamin Hutcherson, Sarah Michelle Beard and Ciel Faye Hutcherson; and her sisters, Nan Shewalter and Nancy Abbott.
