She was predeceased by : her husband Eldridge Zabel; her former life partner Jim Elliott; her children, Steve Elliott, Chuck Elliott and Karen Sue Elliott; her granddaughter Sondra Elliott; and her parents, Clifton Waldrop and Pearl Waldrop.

She is survived by : her children, Ricky Elliott, Robin Ritchey, Cathy Huff, Cheryl Elliott and Vicky Houchens (Brian). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and her sisters and brother.
