We bid farewell to Myrtle Smith of Crestwood, Kentucky, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 24, 2025 at the age of 95. Myrtle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Warren; her sisters, Virginia and Lindsay (Smith); and her parents, William Phelps and Minnie Phelps.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Smith (Becky) and Suzanne Hines (Philip); her sister Catherine Phillips; and her grandchildren, Leslie Chilton (John Mark) and Neil Smith (Rebecca). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to DeHaven Baptist Church.
