He was predeceased by: his father Roy E. Gaunce, Jr.; his son Christopher Gaunce; and his grandparents, Eugene, Nancy Gaunce, Joe and Ann Bratton.
He is survived by: his wife Natalie Wesley Gaunce; his mother Mary Jo; his stepfather Noel Russell of Berea; his daughters, Rebecca Dillard (Nick) of Paoli, Nicole Moyer of Shelbyville and Kelly Moyer (Brent Kakwitch) of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Dayton and Olive Dillard; his siblings, Brent Gaunce (Emily) of Carlisle, Lisa Helton (Mike), Lori Sparks (Doyle) of Berea and Regina Sosby (Robert) of Carlisle; and his stepmother Brenda Gaunce of Carlisle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
