He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Garrett Phelps; his children, Lisa Mayes (Allen), Jessica Cornwell and Rodney Phelps (Robin); his grandchildren, Stephanie Stone (Josh), Travis Mayes (Kim), Melissa Waid (Jason), Korey Mayes (Ericka), Teri Hamilton (Craig), Lindsay Phelps and Morgan Phelps; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Aleric, Sophie, Deacon, Kai, Daxton, Mia, Toby, Emily, Abby, Lily and Penelope.
