He is survived by: his pet Susie; his wife Laura Strong; his sons, Roy Irvin Strong, Jr. (Mary) of Florence, KY, Gary Allen Strong (Laysha) of Hebron, KY and Randy Dale Strong of Dry Ridge, KY; his siblings, Terry Strong (Jo) of Shelbyville, KY, Bobby Strong (Micki) of Alexandria, KY, Phyllis Hamilton (late Lou) of Florida, Janet McMillan Rodgers of Williamstown, KY and Beverly Clifton (late Roy) of Boise, ID.; his grandchildren, Josh (Brittany), Kayla (Trent), Jordon, Brandon (Jessy), Kara (Brady), Sierra (Daniel), Haley and Dakota; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Marlee, Coby, Saint, Ocean, Bryn, Crue, Mara, Ryker and Ellion.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crittenden Baptist Church (215 Russell Dr, Crittenden, KY 41030). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
