He is survived by: his parents, Robert Pitts and Nanci Kleiman Pitts; his wife Courtney Lawson Pitts; his siblings, Robann Cunningham (Donny), Rebecca Heflin (Aaron) and Rob Pitts (Andrea Trauth); his parents-in-law, Jerry and Marilyn Lawson; his brothers-in-law, Sam Lawson and Jake Lawson; his nephews, Ian Schraer, Riley Pitts and Cheli Heflin; his godchildren, Meghan Pitts, Rory Heflin, Charlie Cunningham, Caty Cunningham, Clark Cunningham, Nora Lawson (Kain Lawson), Samantha and Ian Deckard; and his pets, Rosie, Greg, Zoey and Zora. He is also survived by his family, friends, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pike, Fort Wright, KY 41017). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
