With sadness, we share the passing of Joyce Brown of Crockett, Kentucky. Joyce, born on May 24, 1946, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bishop Benton and Hortence Arnett Benton (Arnett); her husband Donnie Marvin Brown; her sister Ruth Evelyn Lambert; and her nephew Delbert Wayne Bell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sharon Sue Peyton (David) and Jimmie Lee Benton (Florence); her daughters, Donnett Brown-Watson (Steve Burnett Watson) and Rosett Brown Spears (James Grant Spears); and her grandchildren, Dustin Marvin Watson, Stephanie Dawn Watson (Daniel Carrier), Sarah Nicole Spears and Staci Renae Spears. She is also survived by her 7 nieces; 8 nephews; and many great grand nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home (329 Glenn Ave, West Liberty, KY 41472). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
