He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Lear and Emma Lear Dunlap (Spurlin); his son Kevin Lear; his sister Gaile Crick; his brother-in-law Dale Vandiver; and his nephew Travis Vandiver.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Cullen of Madisonville; his grandchildren, Zedekiah, Zephaniah Cullen, Zachary Cummings (Roberta) and Gregory Faith II; his siblings, Jamie Lear (Kathy) of White Plains and Penny Vandiver of White Plains; his brother-in-law Rickie Crick; and his siblings' children, Trent, Ashley Lear, Jake Vandiver, Crystal Putman and Emily Crick.
