It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Miller Sr. of Crofton, Kentucky, born in Butler, Missouri, who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Luther Miller and Molly Miller; and his siblings, Melissa Miller, Bill, Don, Jay, Eldon and Joe Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hopper Miller of Crofton, KY; his children, Robert Dale Miller, Jr. (Denise) and Debra Jean Heppner (Jim) of Godfrey, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jacob Heppner (Kerry), Anna Heppner, Whittney Robinson (Shaun) and Taylor Bates (Nick); his great grandchildren, Dalton Robinson, Moriah Robinson, Crosby Heppner, Althea Heppner, Lawson Bates, Irelynn Settles and Leland Settles; and his siblings-in-law, Lewis Hopper and Edna Grace of Hopkinsville, KY.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton (145 E Princeton St, Crofton, KY 42217). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association in honor of Dale Miller Sr.
