Peggy Jane Stice Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Jane Stice of Cub Run, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barzilla Benham and Mamie Benham. She is survived by: her husband James Walton Stice, Sr.; her children, Patricia Covington (Michael) of Crestwood, James W. Stice, Jr. (Peggy) of Cub Run and Katherine Wright of Louisville; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hallinan (Scott), Kristie Jones (Danny), Judy Ann Zabenco (Chad), Kelly Stice, Christopher Stice (Heather), Amanda Huchingson (Feliks), Kristopher Huchingson (Sara), Christina Hourigan and Teresa Johnston (Jeremy); her siblings, Hazel Sheffield and Leon Benham (Faye); Gertrude Gray, Lucille Samuels, Gerald Benham and Janice Priddy. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Patton Funeral Home - Brownsville (504 Washington St, Brownsville, KY 42210). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM.
