The passing of Ricky L. Taylor of Cub Run, Kentucky occurred on October 18, 2026. Ricky, born on February 16, 1955 in Edmonton, Kentucky, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Rick; and his brothers, Terry and Ronnie. He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his daughter Heather Woods (Josh); his grandchildren, Shelby Dailey (Corey), Carly McCord (Tyler), Jackson Woods, Zoe Woods, Tyler Woods and Blake Woods (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Enola, Everleigh, Colter, Ellie and Easton Clay; and his pet Daisy Duke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Brookland Cemetery (4897 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
