He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Stanton Clay of London, KY; his daughters, Betty Clay Pennington (Mike) of Crittenden, KY and Kim Clay-Jackson (Myke) of Morrow, OH; his granddaughter Britt Scatena (Tony) of Lexington, KY; his siblings, Margaret Clay Szorcsik of Cumberland, Doris Powell of Cumberland and Sherrill Clay (Joan) of Owensboro; and his sisters-in-law, Blanche Clay of Carlisle, OH and Sylvia Reinhart (John) of Milan, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
