He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Chamberlain and Irene Wolfe Purkey; his stepfather Spencer Purkey; his sister Janet Purkey; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Wyvonne Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Fields Chamberlain of Cumberland; his children, Adam Justin Chamberlain (Rachel) of Rogersville, TN, Shea Terry (Jeremy) of Lexington, Amanda Pate (Tom) of Piney Flatts, TN and Drew Patrick Chamberlain (Kaitlin) of Harlan; his brother Stan Purkey (Shirley) of Morristown, TN; his grandchildren, Christian, Madison, Abigail, Eden, Thomas, Anna Chamberlain, Maddox, Collier, Blair Terry, Legend Pate, Andrea Napier and Camden Chamberlain; his great grandchildren, Avery, Eli Chamberlain and Julian Rich; and his close friend Roland "PeeWee" Cornett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the TRI City Funeral Home (496 Holly St, Benham, KY 40807). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
