Verda Lee Halcomb Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verda Lee Halcomb of Cumberland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Halcomb Sr. and Clara Shepherd Halcomb; her sister Lavonnia Halcomb; her nephews, Jeffery Halcomb and Saylor Dwayne Clark; her niece Paigetta (Gregory Stamper); and her brothers-in-law, Jack Franklin and Wayne Clark.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lisa Adams (Marty) of Viper, Shelia Clark of Hiram, Geraldine Franklin of Cumberland, Randall Halcomb (Cathy) of Indiana and Lester Halcomb Jr. of Cumberland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the TRI City Funeral Home (496 Holly St, Benham, KY 40807). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
