He was predeceased by: his significant other Georgia Anne Russell; his brother Randall Long; and his parents, Amos Russell and Nellie Long. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Sloan (Rew) of Franklin, Amanda Bartholomew (Jeremy) of Milan, Tennessee and Jason Russell of Chapmansboro, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Hayden Claire Sloan, Gabrielle Bartholomew and Owen Bartholomew.
