She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Thomas Baker; her parents, John T., Sr. and Rada Bell Mulligan Gunsauley; her sons, Johnny and Robert Baker; her siblings, Virginia Giles, Evelyn Roberts, Ruth, Phyllis Winkle, Earl Winkle, Harold Gunsauley, James Roberts, Junior D. Gunsauley and Clarence Ray Gunsauley; and her great grandchild Denver Reffett.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Baker, Mary Lou Halcomb (Dale), Ronnie Baker, Connie Baker Fryman, James Baker (Tammy) and Kelly Florence; and her grandchildren, Donnie Baker, Jr., Matthew Thomas Baker, Teresa Baker, Melissa Davis, Clint Balzer (Lacey), Jimmy Baker, Makayla Fletcher (Jordan), Rada Barrett (Bobby), Laura Michelle Reffett, Kimberly Fryman, Eric Lee Hutchison (Candice), Mary Beth Minor (David), Jared Thomas Woods, Christina Best (A. J.) and Kay Purcell (Chip). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home (112 N Walnut St, Cynthiana, KY 41031). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Battle Grove Cemetery (531 E Pike St, Cynthiana, KY 41031).
