With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Compton of Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 25, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Record and Dorothia Abbott Record; and her brothers, Gary Record and Buford Record. She is survived by : her sons, Roy Lee Compton, Jr. and Joe Compton (Amy); and her grandchildren, Jared Matthew Compton, William Carter Compton, Kala Compton and Brittany Patterson. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
