He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Wooldridge and Mattie Ellis Wooldridge; and his siblings, Roy Lee, Donald, Ronald, Johnny Wooldridge, Loraine Wooldridge, Josephine Stinson, Emmalene Merriman and Betty Jean Herald.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Kurtz Wooldridge; his children, Steve Wooldridge (Penny) of Danville, Debbie Shelton (Kelly) of North Carolina and Kathy Wooldridge of Danville; and his grandchildren, Kim Calhoun, Tristen Adams, Kevin Shelton and Cali McKnight. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
