She was predeceased by: her husband Delma Cox; her parents, Henry Cook and Virginia Hilbert Cook; her husband Preceding; and her brothers, Charles A. Hilbert, William D. Hilbert, Dennis Cook and Jimmy Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lee Cox (Janet) of North Carolina, Garey Christison of North Carolina and Rita Cornett of Danville; and her sister Kathy Reynolds of Parksville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home (331 S 4th St, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
