He is survived by: his wife Shelby Preston; his children, Charles Thomas Preston III (Frances) of Lancaster, KY, Corey Lee Preston of Nicholasville, KY, Nicholas A. Preston (Jammie) of Atlanta, GA and Kristie L. Preston Richardson of Danville; his siblings, James "Jimmy" Preston of Danville and Linda Rogers of Danville; his grandchildren, Tyler Preston, Taylor Preston (Bethany), Olivia Preston, Lauren Preston and Cheyenne Preston (Miranda Roberts); and his great grandchildren, Lainey Hulett, Brenna Roberts and David Roberts.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Buffalo Springs Cemetery (630 KY-78, Stanford, KY 40484).
