He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvin Tinsley and Blanche Dean Bibb. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Potter Bibb; his son Michael Allen Bibb (Melissa); his grandchildren, Matthew Allen Bibb (Madeline), Miles Evans Bibb and Elizabeth Claire Bibb; his great grandchild Henry Allen Bibb; and his brothers, Gayle Bibb (Phyllis), Ronald Bibb (Becky) and Donald Bibb (Cheryl). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Lexington Avenue Baptist Church and Gideons International.
