Evona Stafford Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evona Stafford (Danville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Evona may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evona touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Vanoy and Ada Cochran Vanoy; and her sister Betty Jean Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Everett Stafford; her children, Kirby Stafford (Melinda) of Danville and Paulette Stamper (Jake) of Harrodsburg; her grandson Scott Stafford (Courtney) of Frankfort; and her great grandchildren, Sophie and Millie Moon Stafford.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hedgeville Baptist Church (4700 Lancaster Rd, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
