George Carpenter Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Carpenter of Danville, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 85, on February 18, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alpha R. Carpenter and Lottie Manning Carpenter; and his brother Marvin Carpenter. He is survived by : his children, Kevin Hoover, George Alan Hoover (Mellissa), Vivian Hoover Parker (Tim) of Forest City and Arlene Hoover of Forest City; and his sister Linda Yocum (Kenneth "Porkchop"). He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Heritage Hospice.
