With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert William McGuire of Danville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Henry and Virginia Lucille Kingsberry McGuire; his wife Margaret Jean Sheegog McGuire of Danville; his sister Marion Edwards; and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Shulz and Garth Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Margeret McGuire and Kevin Michael McGuire (Betty); his grandchildren, Ryan Patrick McGuire, Joseph Reed McGuire, Richard Cooper McGuire (Kristin), Mary Margaret and Darland; his great grandchildren, Jonah Arnold and Riley Erin Bauer; and his sisters, Victoria Warren (Larry) and Diana Shulz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Heritage Hospice, Inc. or the Herb McGuire Scholarship c/o Centre College. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Herbert William McGuire 's name.
