She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Carpenter and Florine Reynolds Carpenter; and her son James Orberson. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Graham Sipe, Mark Grigsby (Kathleen Sinkhorn) and Daniel Grigsby (Sammie); and her siblings, Mitchell Carpenter Jr., Doris Gibson and Martha Grigsby. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
