He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Yocum and Rosetta Yocum Caldwell; his wife Dorothy Freeman Yocum; his sisters, Dorothy Jackson, Rosa Mae Lancaster, Linda Yocum and Bonnie Yocum; his brothers-in-law, James Lancaster and Dennis Jones; his great-nephew Antonio Lancaster; and his great-niece Ginastacia Yocum.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jackie Yocum of Danville, Marsha Yocum of Danville and Paul Allen Yocum of Versailles; his brother-in-law Donald Lancaster of Danville; his close friends, James Patterson and Lisa Alexander; and his great-nephews, Marcus Yocum, Dwayne Yocum, Larry Watkins, Terry Williams, Chris Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Bobby Yocum, Lamar Yocum and Paul Yocum. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
