He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garrett Clontz, Sr. and Ollie Parris Clontz; his son James "Jamie" Garrett Clontz, III; his wife Margaret Ann Jackson Clontz; and his siblings, Ron Clontz and Connie Clontz.

He is survived by: his daughter Lauren Elizabeth Clontz of Danville; his sister Marilyn; and his brothers-in-law, John Adair of Yorktown, Virginia and Ed Jackson of Salem, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home (331 S 4th St, Danville, KY 40422).
