It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Clifton Hancock (Danville, Kentucky), who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Clifton Hancock and Maybelle Ball Hancock; his brother Bob; and his daughter Betsy Bright. He is survived by: his wife Lee Altsheler Rue Hancock; his children, John, David (Kathleen), Katy Bramel (Steve), Mitch (Jen) and George; and his grandchildren, Ben, Chris Bright, Jonathon, Josh, Claire Hancock, Kelsea Sexton (Jonathan), Lindsay Tamme, Will Bramel, DJ, LeeAnn Hancock, William, Jackson Rue, Elizabeth Harris (Cameron), Lucy and Lila Rue. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
