He was predeceased by : his parents, Axel Nelson and Lydia Nelson; his former life partner Joyce; his children, Kim and Vicki; and his sisters, Donna Green and Judy Hubbard.
He is survived by : his significant other Aase; his children, James Todd (Ellen), Tara Nelson, Melodi Nelson (Mark) and Lisamalayne Benson (Steve); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Rebecca), Devon (Stephen), Andy (Denise), Corey, Jeffrey, Rachel, Lilly (Brian), Celina (Johnathan), Brandon (Brooklyn), Emma (David), Ryan (Lindsey), Alycia (Kevin), Blake, Jessica (Kenny), Matthew (Rachel) and Kiersten; his great grandchildren, Owen, Ella, Piper, Amaya, Eliana, Matilda, Matthew, Zaria, Gabriella, Levi and Tillia; and his siblings, Roger Nelson (Marlene) and Darlene Green (Dell). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
