Margaret Webb Lanier Obituary

We announce the death of Margaret Webb Lanier (Danville, Kentucky), who passed away on June 18, 2026, at the age of 93. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Scott Glore and Margaret Webb Glore; her husband Philip McCart Lanier; her siblings, Mary Hester Glore Skow and Walter Scott Glore, III; and her nephew Mark Lanier.

She is survived by: her children, Sarah Kemp Lanier Zoerb (Eric) and Philip Scott Lanier; her grandchildren, Hannah McCart Zoerb, John Morgan Zoerb and Luke Lanier Zoerb; and her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Glore, Melissa Lanier Murphy (Shenan), Addison Lanier (Jamie) and John Lanier (Jane).
