It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Montgomery of Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lee Casey and Mary Bell Westerfield Casey; her husband Buford Montgomery; and her siblings, J. T. Casey, Ancel Casey, Thelma Girtley, Isabel Johnson and Joanne Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn, Edwin and Stephen; her grandchildren, Matthew, Charlotte, Casey and Jennifer; her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Loreli; and her sibling's child Montgomery. She is also survived by siblings, nieces and nephews; and her church family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home - Danville (318 W Broadway St, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
