We bid farewell to George Newton Hale of David, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 28, 2025 at the age of 71. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay and Winifred "Penny" Osborne Hale; and his siblings, Tommy Hale, James Henry Hale, Kay Alice Hale and Carla Hale.
He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Katherine LeAnn Tackett (Jonathan Mark) of Prestonsburg, KY; his significant other Barbara Ratliff Hale; his brothers, Ben Hale (Keane) of Blue River, KY and Jon Hale (Malissa) of Lexington, KY; his sister-in-law Sandy Hale; and his grandchildren, Penelope "Penny" Kate Tackett and Asher Kyle Tackett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Hale Family Cemetery.
