We bid farewell to Josette O'Neal Smith of David, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2025 at the age of 75. Josette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband David Smith; her parents, Bill O'Neal and Violet Quire O'Neal; and her sisters, Sugar Johnson, Lizzie Smith and Gerri Manley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Releford (Ricky) of Harrodsburg and Evelyn Edwards (Kevin) of Harrodsburg; her grandchildren, David Smith, Rusty Edwards, Cody Releford (Franki Simmons), Zaine Edwards and Leonna Hobbs (Roger); her stepgrandson Chris Releford; and her great grandchildren, Dixie Hobbs, Daisy Hobbs, Hunter Hobbs, Peyton Hobbs, Emma Jo Hobbs, Eli Edwards, Fredrick Edwards, Kingston Smith, Kaelynn Edwards, Riley Edwards, Dakota Edwards, Bryan Tyler, Trace Adams and Riverlynn Releford.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home (304 E Lexington St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
