She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene F. Byford; her parents, Gobel Travis and Atlanta Railey Travis of Georgia; her siblings, Ernestine Scott, Billie Mae Ryan, Betty Jane Garner, Charles Travis and James C. "Bub" Travis; and her half-sisters, Helen Ann Redd, Linda Marie Sanders, Lou Dawn Davis, Judith Adams, Marilyn Thornton, Karen Travis and Sharon Diane Travis.
She is survived by: her son Danny E. Byford (Carolyn) of Marion, KY.; her grandchildren, Mandi Shuecraft (Graham), Jared Byford (Amy) of Marion and Rachel Collins (Jeremy) of Marion; her great grandchildren, Braxton Winders (Lyndsey) of Mayfield, KY, Noah Byford of Marion, Jordy Byford of Marion, Beau Byford of Marion, Cade Collins of Marion and Harper Collins of Marion; her brother Newman Travis (Betty); and her half-siblings, Patricia Bethe, Greta Ridings (Glenn) and William Allen Travis. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mapleview Cemetery.
