He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Nixon; and his sisters, Betty Reynolds, Shirley Wilson and Gladys Dunning. He is survived by: his children, Jon Brunson and Tiffany Brunson Jackson (James) of Hopkinsville; and his grandchildren, Brittiny Sanders Shelby, James Sanders, Brooke Jackson Wood, Cheli Jackson Matlock and Nicholas Jackson. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
