He is survived by: his siblings, Rosemary Starks of Nebo, KY, Peggy Holmes of Dawson Springs, Larence Holmes of Alabama, Bennie Holmes of Madisonville, Paul Holmes (Donna) of Madisonville, Clinton Holmes (Sheri) of Sacramento, KY, Wesley Holmes (Karen) of Madisonville, Nelson Holmes of Dawson Springs and Earnest Holmes of Dawson Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
