He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Robert and Artie Justine Vandiver (Smith) of St. Charles; his former wife Ardean Vandiver (Little); his son Jim Winningham; his great grandchild Zachariah Suttle; and his siblings, Carmon Franklin, Houston Vandiver, Clifton Vandiver, Lewis Vandiver, Hilda Camplin, Gerriel Vandiver, Janice Love, Stephen Vandiver and Shelia Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Terrell Vandiver; his children, Linda Caraway of Madisonville, Pam Bloodworth of Dawson Springs, Jeff Vandiver (Melissa) of Dawson Springs and Robyn Frailey of Dawson Springs; and his siblings, Sharon Hugo and Jack Vandiver (Carolyn). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
