He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Herman Bowen, Sr. and Mary Ellen Kirk Bowen; his daughter Amanda Winebarger; and his siblings, Debra Angerer and Cecil Bowen, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Landon Bowen of Dawson Springs, KY; his sisters, Fay Kilbride (Vince) of California, Kathy Davis of Colorado, Suzette Leitem (Devon) of California, Yvonne Bonnie Shaw (Steve) of Colorado and Patty McGuiness (Tom) of California; and his grandchildren, Abigail Winebarger, Levi Cotton and Daxton Cotton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
