He was predeceased by: his parents, James Baxter and Janet Baxter (Wilson); his son John William Baxter, Jr.; and his siblings, James Baxter and Mary Ann Simms.
He is survived by: his children, David Baxter (Erika), Janet Baxter, Jessica Baxter of Christopher and Angela Baxter; his nephew Bill White; and his brothers, Richard Baxter (Francis) and Gary Baxter (Barb). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
