He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mollett Jr. and Avenille Mollett (Delong); and his siblings, Dorothy Goble, Kimberly Whitaker (Kenny), Wanda Gail Maynard (Blutcher), Ernest Mollett, Leon Mollett, Arkle Mollett, Arline Howard (Jim) and Dora Dean Crum (Lawrence).
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Mollett of Debord, KY; his children, Elizabeth "Libby" Vickers (Jason) of Waco, KY, Wanda Carter (Buddy) of Beauty, KY, Shawna Jude of Debord, KY, Jonathan Mollett, Aaron Jude, Alex Jude and Wyatt Jude; and his siblings, Marthy Stacy, Pansy McCoy, Kathy Teresa Mollett, Robert Jo Jo Mollett (Samantha) of Sophia, WV, Harvey B. B. Mollett (Glenda White) and Renee Overton (Brad) of Edenton, NC.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
