He is survived by : his children, Steve Smith (Candi) of Leslie County, KY, Angie Baker (Tommy) of Slemp, KY, Larry Smith (Melody) of Cumberland, KY and Chris Smith (Tammy) of Happy, KY; his grandchildren, Leann Smith Lamb, Cody Smith, Eric Baker and Ian Smith; and his great grandchildren, Roman Lamb, Zeke Lamb, Grayson Smith and Caroline Baker.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the TRI City Funeral Home (506 Holly St, Benham, KY 40807). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
