It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann James of Dexter, Kentucky, who passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Ann James to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fayette Scott and Marie Scott (Smith); her son Roger Dewayne James; and her siblings, Woodford "Woody" Scott, Dennis Dale Scott, Arleanus "Nini" Lott, Priscilla "Susie" Vobroucek and Rita Gail Leibee.
She is survived by: her son Brian James of Hardin; her grandson Michael Ray James (Alesha) of Dexter; her great grandchildren, Rylee James and Jessi James; and her sister-in-law Wilma Woods of Murray.
