He is survived by: his children, Teresa Lynn (Brad) of Madisonville, KY, Sheri Shoulders (Brad) of Owensboro, KY and Kevin Townsend (Shanna) of Providence, KY; his siblings, Sharon Copley of Slaughters, KY, Charlotte Marsh of Slaughters, KY, Larry Townsend of Slaughters, KY, Michael Townsend of Slaughters, KY, Roger Townsend of Slaughters, KY, Darrell Townsend of Slaughters, KY, Ricky Townsend of Slaughters, KY and Jackie Townsend of Madisonville, KY; his grandchildren, Valerie Epperson (Grant), Aaron Lynn (Courtney) of Madisonville, KY, Bailey Townsend, Madison Pritchett (Brennen) of Providence, KY, Dylan Shoulders (Hannah) of Georgetown, KY and Hayden Shoulders (Faith) of Louisville, KY; and his great grandchildren, McKinley, Brooks Epperson, Jensen, Jase Lynn, Abrah and Sumner Shoulders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Calendar Townsend Funeral Home (140 US-41 ALT, Dixon, KY 42409). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
