We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2023, at the age of 61, Sammy A. Smith of Dizney, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Smith, Sr. and Martha Ellen Grifey Smith; and his siblings, Johnny Wallace Smith, Oscar Dewayne Smith, Ethel Joyce Smith and Jessie Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lou Elkins Smith; his children, Samantha Elizabeth Robinson (Josh) of Winchester, KY and Trevor Wallace Smith (Sarah) of Georgetown, KY; his siblings, James William Smith, Jr. (Roni), Claudia Smith of Chattanooga, TN, Jennifer Jones of Evarts, KY and Rosie Cox (Andy); and his grandchildren, Doc Silas Robinson and Aralee Macklyn Robinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
